THE ORIGINAL. THE BEST. THE MACEBELL.

Ok, it’s on! :)

When: February 22-28

Where: Where ever you can :)

What to do: Let’s keep it simple. Video yourself performing each event. Depending on what type of macebell you are using it the category you will be entered into.

The "official" categories are 5kg, 10kg, and 15kg.

For anyone using homemade maces are can play too, so no worries :) I will have an "unofficial" category with the weight of the macebell you are using so it works out too.

Events: 360s and "10 and 2s".

Rules: each event is 5 minutes, if at any point for any reason, any part of the mace touches the ground, the event is over and the number of reps is scored. NO GLOVES, no "sticky" or tape... but chalk are allowed and feel free to use as much as you want.

Officially, no more than 30 minutes rest between events is allowed, but since you’re basically on your own, do you best to follow that stipulation.

For the 10 and 2 any hand positioning you want and you can switch as much as you want. For the 360s, the LOWEST number of reps between right side swings and left side swings is recorded.
Example you get 89 to the right but 87 to the left, 87 is the score.
Remember, right hand on top of left hand falls over the left shoulder and is left side swing. Left hand over right hand falls over right shoulder and is a right side swing.
This will keep your strength in balance.
The total reps of both events will be tallied and a winner for each category will be posted, also highest number of reps for each event will be honored too.
Alert me we you have your videos done and we will post them on the macebell sport youtube channel.

Note: I will NOT be entering into the official categories, I am helping host this and that is more than enough for a challenge for me currently 

Get out there and swing up a storm!!!!!!
Be safe, have fun!

I am a macebell rookie but I would love to give it a shot.

Quick question...Is there a legal way to rest during the set or as long as it doesn't touch the ground you can rest however you want?

Yes, you can rack the macebell any way you want, over a shoulder, across both..etc, its all up to you :)
