When did you starting swinging the Macebell?
June 3, 2007
About Me:
46 yr old male, married, 4 grandchildren. I have spent over 20 yrs in bodybuilding then became interested in powerlifting for about 5 yrs until I injured my knee. For over the last several years my conditioning has mainly consisted in body weight training and striking and swinging Hammers. The Macebell has now become a big part in my strength/conditioning.
What is your favorite aspect of Macebell Strength Training?
The simplicity of it and the natural fluid movements that it allows you to make during the workout. I injuerd my shoulder years ago bench pressing which I never fully recovered from so benching or any kind of overhead press was virtually impossible due to pain. The Macebell has slowly allowed me to once again do overhead presses and I mostly attribute this to the full ROM that occurs while swinging.

yo man you sold me on the macebell when i saw the site. i gave up bodybuilding too when i had all these aches and pains, will mace, kettles, and bodyweight excercises replace bbing as far as feeling strong and tight?
