About Me:
My name is Felippe Guirado, the first Certified Macebell Mauler in Brazil (CMM) - I am professor PG of Physical Education formed the State University of Goias(UEG), and also JJ black belt. In 1999 I began studies and research on Sports Training and Kinesiology in order to develop and submit a very specific conditioning program to fight focused in Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling and in 2003 presented the work of the University monograph with the title "Applied Sports Training in the High Level Competitive Jiu Jitsu" getting the maximum marks (10) .Throughout this process studied in depth the Application Forms of Motor and its interactions, methods of training and developed equipment and apparatus uniques and very specific to the sport, always turned to the sport of income
In my studies and researches I knew the maces (first as Indians clubs, GADA ), but as there was nowhere to buy one in Brazil I decided to make it by my own and i believe it is the first macebell IN MY COUNTRY - BRAZIL (10 kg in pure iron galvanized - design based on the medieval morning star but with drops of solder in place of the spikes) I used to keep them as part of my training program and it got my attention by the rapid development in grips ,torque strength and core power. I really like this kind of training and I see this site as an excellent opportunity to learn more and share my experiences, developing and researches. Thank you !! This site is Great !
What is your favorite aspect of Macebell Strength Training?
Balance Strength Proprioception Core Power - Enormous torque strength on grappling grips - Great Cardio Training on High Reps, non-linear strength and, of course, the great barbarian /gladiator feeling in just holding it =)
