Macebell workouts will help you shed pounds, guaranteed. In fact I have lost more weight than I ever wanted to or thought even possible.

Hi Neal, I'm 55 and new here also. I did a double-take when I read your post. It sounded very similar to my own situation . . . even down to clubbells and kettlebells . . . I've got a couple of home-made 15 lb clubs and three KBs. I would be extrem…

Hi Neal!,It sounds to me like you already have enough serious tools to formulate an effective training program to loose weight.Use your 25lb kettlebell to do 2 hand (and later, one hand) swings for sets lasting 1 min or longer. Work on increase the s…

http://www.reocities.com/fightraining/macgada.html I made mine based off of this. Perfect if ever dropped it on horse stall/ cattle mats or grass/dirt. But be warned that the ball could split in half if dropped on a hard concrete surface. I used lo…

Thank you for your reply. I am not sure what you mean by a programmable round timer. Exactly what is this, how does it work, where does a person get one, and about how much do they cost. Thanks, Neal

Welcome aboard, Neal! You're never too old to start swinging - so long as you don't do too much, too soon. Build up slowly, allow time for proper rest, and make sure you're getting good nutrition and you should be fine. 1) Exercise is vital to art…

When did you starting swinging the Macebell?
August 1, 2009
About Me:
I am a 54 year old special education teacher (ED) who weighs 260 pounds which is about 90 pounds to much. I love to golf, ride my bicycle, and train to stay strong. I am hoping to lose weight with macebell training as I feel it really gets the metabolism going.

I have had 3 knee surgeries and hope macebell trtaining will not be an issue with this. I am recently divorced and looking for things to keep myself occupied.
What is your favorite aspect of Macebell Strength Training?
Getting stronger or maintaining where I am at. I also have arthritis and hope that macebell training will help to fight this awful disease. I know I am not a kid but feel the macebell routines might help. I also have a 25 pound kettlebell and 2 15 pound clubbells.

Thanks for letting mr join.

question for Kevin Wilkse

Firsr of all thank you for allowing me to be a member. I know that I might be a little to old for this Macebell stuff but I guess I will be the old guy.

My question is for Kevin. I have watched most if not all of your videos on you tube. Is it my imagination or have you dropped some pounds since you moved to California. My reason for asking this is after 3 knee surgeries and being 80 to 100 pound to heavy is macebell training a good way to lose weight.

Thank you!

Neal
