THE ORIGINAL. THE BEST. THE MACEBELL.

The 45lb Macebell is a cruel, cruel friend and personal rival. But today I was able to knuckle under and hit 70reps. My hands are torn and my muscles ache, but another PR tastes very sweet. 100 in a row is a near reality.

Yeah about 3 months. The work from the 15kg really set me up for getting the foundation laided for the 45lb. I also started doing one handed meel style(iron shiek method) with some 35lb clubs I made and that really helped too. I am not sure how long it takes, I would imagine about 3-4mins. After 70 I had to crash on the floor before I could hit the rest of the reps, which where ugly and painful. 2-3x a week I just swing until I can't anymore and then do it again until I have 100 reps in. It seems to work out well. Mondays are my PR days, so I am coming off 2 days of rest, when I swing the macebell again this week I won't even try to hit 70, I would be ok with my first set being 30-40.

How long did it take you to work your way up to 70 reps? It didnt seem very long...maybe a few months of training with the 45lber. What did it take..about 3 minutes to do the 70 reps?
congrats..
